The was first time I have taught this technique for making books of single pages. All because of a friend who posted it online, Carol Dubosch, a fantastic calligraphy teacher from Oregon, who brought back memories of doing this long ago. I added using a die cutter and dies to add to the pages. This has only one of the simple slip stitch bindings. I have three more variations for the next workshop. The class did a great job with everyone going home with a completed book. Here are some samples that came out of the class.

This is a piece I made with Botanical Printing. It will be exhibited at the Printed Realm show at the Pence Gallery. It is a print on paper, mordanted and printed with leaves of cotinus, Eucalyptus, maples and a few other leaves, steamed in unknown bath of probably iron, tea and onion skins.
The dilemma I had was to determine the direction of the piece. It could go in any direction.
