The Asian Art Museum in San Francisco had a wonderful event on April 18. The event, in conjunction with the Terracota Warrior show from China, was to mimic the armor worn by the Warriors. Four Artists came together to lead the participants to make armor with emphasis on either color or texture. Emiko Oye and Kathryn Kenworth lead the color group and Ealish Wilson and Megumi Inouye lead the texture group. I helped the texture group. The following are photos from that evening. It was great fun.

Everyone hard at work making their armor. We were happy with all the paper Ealish printed, donations from Flax Art Supply and friends. |
