Lisbeth Degn has an online embroidery challenge called Dogma Broderi. I joined at the beginning of the year and look forward to it weekly. Here are a few that I have done following her rules and challenge. After we finish, we are to make a book or a box to hold them. I am making a cover for a book of them. There will be 27 pages with embroideries on both sides.

CHERRIO
September 2025 I fulfilled a bucket list to join 18 wonderful participants at Cheerio. Coordinated by Joyce and Jim Teta, John Stevens taught a fantastic workshop. I can't believe how much he passed on to us. So much to learn, so little time. We were so fortunate to get an exhibit of John's originals too. We had two exhibits..John's and Manny Murillo's many Cheerio pieces he does every time he attends. Manny produced a book of them and many of us bought it. How lucky were we?
Workshop with Suzanne Moore
The 2025 Summer Workshop with Friends of Calligraphy had Suzanne Moore.
SPEAKING TO THE EYES; EXPLORING WRITING AS IMAGE
An amazing artist and friend. How fortunate to get to learn so much from her.
Lucky to also have some of her saved papers to use for book covers and pages.
Here is some work that I was able to do.
Demonstration for Friends of Calligraphy in conjunction with Kalligraphia.
Demonstration for Friends of Calligraphy in conjunction with Kalligraphia. Every three years the guild gives a great exhibit of member's work at the Main San Francisco Library. Dean Robino and I gave the last demo. About 50 people showed up and I thought it was a success called Blocked? Letters without nibs highlighting Baby Teeth font.
